I know this is not a good picture but the light was failing and this was such an exciting experince to see a wild orang-utan I just had to post this picture!

I really would like to go back to this area and visit the Orang-Utans, but I know it will upset me with the destruction of their habitat. A lot of places I go to upsets me how man can destroy animals of selfishly. Please look at my footnote on my 'Bad Experiences on holiday' by DEW in answer to your enquiry.

You replied to me about the coatimundis - how I envy you being able to sit and play with them!!!!! Lucky you. I think I wrote about how we got to see this coatimundi in my Belize Experience. It was very unexpected and we watched him for quite a while, he even peeped down at us before out smarting the dogs!
