Malaysia age 17, travelling with a Malay schoolfriend. Was taken by her grandmother to meet the queen of Malaysia... quite a surreal first travel experience.

What has been your favourite journey?
Trekking the Annapurna circuit.

Hunza valley, Pakistan; Tikal, Guatemala; Lamu, Kenya; Sossusvlei, Namibia; Venice.

A night in a Bedouin tent in the Sahara.
