Will you be taking part in the world's biggest photowalk?

Tomorrow is the GooglePlus 1st Anniversary Photowalk, an event organised by G+ photographers around the globe. Today the one hundredth city was added to the list, coinciding with the 100th person to sign up to the Cochin photowalk, which I am co-ordinating.
In fact up until last week not one photographer was represented between Dubai and Singapore. Now three Indian cities are on the map - Cochin, Bangalore and Trivandrum. Now we've got the press involved too with coverage in The Hindu already and freelance photographers joining us tomorrow and another regional paper who will be doing a follow-up story.
If you are interested in taking part in this informal event, check out the official list to see if there is one happening near you. If there isn't, it's not too late to set one up yourself! See the co-ordinators page here or contact me/leave a reply below if you have any questions.
Anyone with a camera is encouraged to join, be it a dslr or a cameraphone.
Spreading the love of photography with events like these always puts a smile on my face!

Thanks, Helen. Since posting that up the number of participants in Cochin has gone up to 111! This is unprecedented, not only in India but across the whole event.  It'll be interesting to see how many of those actually turn up, especially in this monsoon weather ;)
