Wanderlust calls for nominations for the Paul Morrison Guide Awards 2010
We’re calling for entries to the Wanderlust Paul Morrison Guide Awards 2010 – this is your chance to give something back to those amazing people who’ve made your trip: the city guide who brought the streets to life, the ranger who could spot a lion at 1,000 paces, the sherpa who saved you from toppling off a mountain.
These unsung heroes can transform your travels but get scant recognition; the Paul Morrison Guide Awards, supported by the Association of Independent Tour Operators, is the ONLY prize that recognises their skills and achievements.
What makes a great guide? When you nominate a guide in our 2010 Wanderlust Paul Morrison Guide Awards, we don’t just want their name, we need you to tell us exactly what makes them so special. Tell us how they score on the following criteria:
Communication – did your guide enthuse your interest, connect you to the place, give added insight? Knowledge – did your guide know more than the guidebook and give extra detail? Empathy – did your guide look after your comfort and safety, and gauge the mood and ability of the group?
