Alastair’s quest for adventure began young. Aged eight, he completed the 26 mile Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge and the National Three Peaks in 24 hours at the age of 13.
After university, Alastair cycled round the world for four years, raced a yacht across the Atlantic Ocean, canoed 500 miles down the Yukon River and walked the length of the holy Kaveri river in India. He has crossed Iceland by foot and packraft and walked a lap of the M25. Alastair has written three books. www.alastairhumphreys.com.
