Launched in 2005 in memory of Wanderlust’s co-founder Paul Morrison, the Wanderlust World Guide Awards is the only global award for tour leaders and guides.
This year's judges include: Bill Bryson, Mark Carwardine, Kate Humble and Wanderlust editor-in-chief Lyn Hughes.
The shortlist for the Wanderlust World Guide Awards 2012 has been announced – take a look at the top ten guides here. This year's award ceremony will be held at the Royal Geographical Society on 4 October.
